On the subject of drugs…

I believe that hallucinogenic/dissociatives/some-hypnotics are intriguing. They help us question our perception, and teach us not to rely on what we see or hear, because that can be false. We have to rely on our basic knowledge of the world to understand fully what is going on. These drugs cause a mind-altering state, in which we question what is around us and what is truly real. One can become more in-tune to the world when they have grasped the concept that the certain things they see are not real in this state. They can then create an image of reality, and become fully assured what “belongs” and “doesn’t belong”. This can be helpful to a person who is not sure of their reality. These drugs also help us get a different sense of the world entirely, and can give us feelings that one can only dream of. They can help open up the world to a person, change their views, and give them a new outlook, perception, or even feeling about things.
